Did you see Channel 4’s Dispatches about baby banks (Monday 29 October)?

This in depth report looked at the growing need for baby banks in the UK and the invaluable work they do with families in need. Baby Bank Norfolk provided data to the programme and we hope that it will help raise the profile of our service so that we can help more Norfolk families in need.

If you watched the programme and want to help Baby Bank Norfolk, here’s how you can get involved:

  • Volunteer. Just an hour or two to help us sort through our donations or perhaps wash a bag of our donated items. Email us or DM us on Facebook to sign up to help us.

  • Donate – both new and pre-loved stuff. We need lots of new things such as teats, dummies, toiletries etc but we also need pre-loved clothes and essentials like baths and changing mats. Check our news pages for the most up to date list of what we need.

  • Give. We have very few overheads and we are run entirely by volunteers but we need money to pay for rent on our storage facility and to buy things that we can’t give out secondhand like moses basket mattresses and teats and dummies. If you want to donate or fundraise for us we would be super thrilled! Email or DM us for more information.
