Donate second hand baby things & toiletries

If you have baby equipment, clothes or toys that you no longer use, we can pass them on to a local family who really needs them. Here what you need to do:

  • Prepare your items for donation:

All clothing should be freshly laundered please and sorted and bagged by size and gender. We stock sizes Newborn to 18 months. If clothing or linen has been in storage it’s important that it is washed again before donating to us. Baby Bank Norfolk  prides itself on passing on items in great condition so please no stained, dirty or ripped clothes please. We want the families who receive items from us to feel like they are receiving a gift and not a handout.

It makes all the difference to the mum on the receiving end and also saves us a great deal of Volunteer time and money for sorting and washing items. If you are not sure whether your clothing donation is suitable or not, a good barometer is would you give it to the children of a good friend? If the answer is yes, we are happy to receive it.

We re-home toys for children up to pre school age, so suitable, good condition toys and books are very welcome. If you would like to donate your preloved baby soft toys we ask that you please wash them first (please note that due to space constraints we only take small newborn baby appropriate soft toys, with a CE or kitemark, suitable from birth; if you have other soft toys please take them to your local charity shop). We cannot rehome small toys from magazines or Happy Meals etc, partly completed sticker or colouring books, broken or incomplete items. Everything should be suitable for babies or preschool age please.

  • Check out our planned donation events.

Please visit our events page or our Facebook Page Events for details of current planned donation events. Due to storage and volunteer limitations, we are sorry but we are now unable to take in donations outside of our planned donation events.
